Education:
Georgi Vasilev graduated in Law at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”in 2013, and in the same year he was registered as lawyer in the Bar Association of Vratsa.
Since 2019 Georgi Vasilev has been registered as bankruptcy trustee at the Ministry of Justice.
He speaks English and German.

Experience:
Georgi Vasilev made his first steps in the legal practice as attorney assistant at Kamburov & Partners Law Firm, legal consultant at International Asset Bank and a junior attorney at Antov & Partners Law Firm. Throughout the first years of his independent legal practice, Georgi Vasilev provided legal advice on various aspects of civil and administrative law, and successfully represented his clients in a number of property, contractual and family cases. Even as junior attorney, Georgi Vasilev began to provide ongoing legal assistance to some of the most established bankruptcy trustees in the matter of commercial insolvency. He has been in charge of litigation of a number of insolvent companies in insolvency estate filling court proceedings. He has provided assistance in complex legal analysis for establishing the property status of insolvent companies operating in various sectors of the economy, some of which – successors of former state-owned companies after privatization procedures. Nominated for bankruptcy trustee of the year in 2019. Some the notable opponents attorney Georgi Vasilev has successfully pursued law-suits against are Road Infrastructure Agency, Volvo Trademark Holding AB, Artex Golden Age Ltd., Artex Engineering AD, etc. Attorney Georgi Vasilev has experience in advising water supply and sewerage operators on projects in the field of energy efficiency, as well as in providing legal assistance on projects related to investments in renewable energy sources and their construction. He has participated in various working groups on drafting bills (“Economic and legal analysis of voluntary implementation measures” prepared on behalf of the BCPEA), and has also actively assisted in international research and analysis (The World Bank). – Bulgaria Public Expenditure Review in Science, Technology and Innovation, as well as RAS Croatia Public Expenditure Review in Science, Technology and Innovation).
